The annual meeting of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, will be held on December Bth;

The'annual report and balancesheet shows £30,000 written off premises, £SOOO placed to the Staff Benevolent Fund, £45,000 carried to reserve, making that total £500,000. Out of the balance of £20,032 the Board recommends the payment of a dividend at the rate or 7| per cent, per annum, less Income Tax, and to distribute an additional, % per cent, making a total of 7 per cent, interest on Third Debenture Stock, less Income Tax, £296 to be carried forward. •■-,■.■-
