FATAL RIOTS
A CHIEF OF POLICE SHOT. (Received Last Night, 0.0 o'clock.) NEW YORK, November 19. Advices received from Marathon, ji township on the Texan border, where an. attack was expected from Mexicans, state that the Mexicans have not appeared, and that tranquility lias been restored. One hundred were killed in riots among the Pueblos Indians, in Mexico. At a political meeting directed against President Diaz, a. woman shot the Chief of Police. A bomb explosion killed a dozen people. The troons have been ordered out.
