MASTEETON STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale, held on Wednesday, as follows: —We had a, medium entry of sheep and cattle, and made an almost total clearance under the hammer at satisfactory prices to vendors. Quotations :—2-tooth wethers, 10s 3d; 4 and 6-tooth ewes and lambs, 18s; mixed sex hoggets, 12s 6d; rams to 9s; fat cows, £3 15s; springing cows, £4 10s; 2-year steers, £3 18s; weaner pigs, 14s.
