ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

KUSSELL-HOURIGAN. A wedding in which a good deal of local interest was manifested was celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Masterton, yesterday afternoon, when Mr John Kussell, of Wellington, was united in matrimony with Miss Annie Hourigan, eldest daughter of Mrs Patrick Hourigan, of Masterton. The ceremony was performed by the Very Rev. Dean SieKenna, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The bride, who was attired in an elegant satin dress, with the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, was given away by Mr J. Fitzgerald. .She also carried a pretty bouquet of white roses, sweet peas and maiden-hair ferns. The bridesmaids were Misses M. Hourigan (sister of the bride) and L. Stempa, who were daintily gowned in white muslin, with hats to match, and carried bouquets of white flowers. Mr T. Power acted as best man, and Mr E. Reilly as groomsman. The "Wedding March" was played by Miss Frost. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a large number of guests were entertained at the residence of the bride's mother, and the health of the newly-married couple was cordially toasted. Mr and Mrs Russell left for Napier on their honeymoon tour.
