WAIRARAPA RUGBY UNION.

The final mooting this season of the Wairarapa Rugby Union was held at Cartorton on Saturday evening, Mr B. Chapman presiding. Correspondence was received as follows: From Canterbury, Southland, Otago and Bush Juniors, thanking the Wairarapa Union for the cordial manner in which their touring representative teams had heen treated in this district. From Canterbury Rugby Union asking for the names of the Wairarapa team which played against Canterbury at Carterton, for purposes of inclusion in their football annual.—The secretary was instructed to supply the information desired. From Xew Zealand Rugby Union, enclosing report of last meeting of management committee, and latest list of some thirty disqualifications, (including six from Wairarapa) endorsed and made general by that body; also notifying the disqualification of a Wellington junior club for breaches of Wellington Union bylaws, and enclosing a list of about 40 members in connection with the same.

From the secretary of the Red Star Club enclosing a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with Pearson Cup matches, and asking that another clause be inserted in the conditions to allow teams which have forfeited matches during the season to play for the Cup, provided they include only that season's junior players.—Hold over till anHual meeting.

A rough statement showed a docrease in receipts compared with last season of about £SO, while- expendi--turo was heavier than usual on account of Wairarapa having to repay visits to unions, necessitating two trips north with the senior team, and one south with the junior. The result of the season's workings showed a small debit balance. The receipts from representative matches played in Wairarapa- amounted to about £BO this season.

Accounts amounting to -£' sB lis Gd were passed for payment.
