AGRICULTURE AT SCHOOLS.
TO BE ENCOURAGED BY MAS--IERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
£ At a meeting of the Masterton Agricultural and Horticultural Committee of the Masterton A. and F. i Association, held on Saturday last, ] and presided over by Mr R. J. Dagg, ' i t was resolved to recommend that a [donation of &\ be made to every ) school with an average attendance of I' 200 or less, and of {£2 to schools of a higher grade, making an exhibit of approved educational value at the : next show, giving the results of ex- ■! perimental or other work in connection with the school agricultural ] classes; such donation to he expended on apparatus for use in agricultural instruction. These donations are to be awarded to all exhibiting schools between the Waingawa .river, and the northern boundary of the K asterton electorate, and those adjacent to the Masterton-Castlepoint road.
