WAIKATO SANATORIUM.
According to a member of the Waikato Borough Council, there are thirty officials at the Waikato Sanatorium to look after thirteen patients. There must be something wrour. if this ia the case. Jlie 3Yai-
kato institution was established for the cure of consumption. Evidently it is being utilised to produce consumption—of public money. If the sanatorium requires a staff of thirty, it should at least have an equal number of patients. There are scores of tuberculous subjects of the Dominion who would be glad of admission to the institution. But apparently thdy are not wanted.
