TEA-ROOMS DESTROYED.

WELLINGTON, Last Night

A large residence at Mason's gardens, Taita, built some forty years ago, was destroyed by fh*e"to-night. The building was owned by Mr R. Keene, of Wellington, and occupied by two families named Harris and Gelding, who ran the place as tea rooms. Harris had his effects insur-ed-for £2OO, and Gelding his for £75 in the South British, office. Keene's insurances are not yet ascertainable.
