A Recipe ' i Can Recommend — Make Them. Take two cupsful of sugar, half, a cupful of butter, one cupful of sweet milk, the whites of four eggs, two teaspoonsful of baking powder, two cupsful of flour and one teaspoonful of vanilla. Cream the butter and sugar and add the milk. Sift the flour and baking powder together and add half of it. Mix the eggs, well-beaten, with the rest, and add the remainder of the flour; and the vanilla. Bake in a square pan. When cool cut in squares and cover with a .chocolate icing, over which sprinkle cocoa nut. For the icing take a cupful and a half of sugar with three tablespooiisful of cream, and a third of a cake of chocolate. Boil until it will rope when poured from a spoon.
