To-Day's Weather.
■ ♦' NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are as follows: ',„ Heavy rain fell in many parts of the North Island on Thursday night, and the weather lias been squally and showery in Foveaux Strait and on the West Coast .of the-south Island to-day, but elsewhere the weather has improved. Strong westerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for a rising barometer everywhere. Southwesterly winds will probably prevail moderate to strong generally, and squally in the South. Fair weather is probable northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and changeable weather elsewhere, and, showery in many parts of the South Island.
