AUCKLAND, Last Night,

As the sequel to the recent raid on bookmakers, Alfred Degroen was charged with making bets and was fined £SO on 1 each of two charges. Charles Philpott and Alfred Adams, for keeping a common gaming house, were fined £IOO each. George Keeven, for assisting in keeping a gaming house, was fined £2O and costs.
