AN AMUSING SPEECH
Received Last Night, 9.40 o'clock,
PARIS, October 28.
Great merriment was caused in the Chamber of Deputies during an adjourned debate, by M. Bouveli, the Socialist Miners' Deputy, stating that the destruction of rails, bridges and tunnels during the recent strike was justified on the ground that the strikers were engaged in a social war and were entitled toj take the same steps a Le Brun himself in the case of a foreign invasion.
