Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale in Pahiatua this week, in their Mangahao Road yards, when thev offered a yarding of both cattle and sheep well above advertised numbers, and are pleased to*report a fairly good sale, and had practically a clearance. Quotations are as follows :—Mixed hoggets, 14s to 14s 4d; 4 and 6-tootli ewes, 14s to 14s 9d; springing heifers, £4 2s, £4 Bs, £4 12s, to £5 10s; cows and calves, £3 6s to £4 ss; springing cows, late calvers, to £5; empty heifers and cows £3 4s to £3 10s; store, cows, according to quality, 30s, 40s, to 74s 6d. Our next sale will he held in the same yards on Thursday, when we will hold, with the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agencv Co., our Snrintr Cattle Sale.
