To-Day's Weather.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates's summary and forecast are as follows There has been a slight decrease in the barometric pressure to-day, but it is still high everywhere. The weather has been fine in the, north, and cloudy elsewhere, with considerable rain on the West Coast of the South Island. Westerly winds have prevailed with moderating force. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, backing to northerly. The barometer will probably fall slowly everywhere. There are prospects of fair weather northward of New ■ Plymouth and Castlepoint, but unsettled and cloudy weather at times elsewhere, rain probably following and continuing on the West Coast.
