Residents of the Wairarapa are indebted to Mr. R. B. Ross, M.P., of Pahiatua, fur having prepared a time-table for the Railway Department, which, in most respects, would meet the requirements of the district. As the Minister has promised to give this time-table his consideration at the close of the session, when he intends reviewing the whole position, it might be as well if the Chambers of Commerce in the various townships affected were to consider the proposals in detail and make such suggestions as would assist the Minister in arriving at a definite conclusion as to the service necessary to meet public requirements. It does not require a. .Gabriel to discover where improvements might be effected
