BRITISH STEAMER WRECKED.
TWELVB OF-THE OREvV DRuWNELJ. Received October 18, 10.5 a.m. LOND'JN, October 17. The British steamer Pbrtmarnock has been wrecked at Cape Frio, on the coast of Brazil, about a hundred and fifty mile 3 north-east of/Rio de Janeiro. Twelve of the crew ware drowned. The Pormarnock was a vessel of 3080 tons, built in 1895 at West Hartlepool, and was owned by J. Weatherill and Sons, of Dublin. Captain J. K. Weahterill was her commander.
