DROWNED IN A WELL.
AUCKLAND, Last Night. Mrs. Dawson, widow of the late Colonel Dawson, aged 55, was found drowned in a well near the back door of her residence tins morning. The deceased lady suffered from influenza recently, which left her depressed, but nothing in her demeanour yesterday suggested sucide. The servants heard nothing' suspicious during the night. The deceased had no financial troubles tm-J. her action is unaccountable.
