THE NEW SOUTH WALES POLL.
(Received October 6, 10.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 6. As polling day approaches the liquor campaign is becoming more strenuous. Both sides are spending money freely, and leaving no stone unturned to secure victory. Among tho army of workers New Zealand is prominently represented in both camps, the Dominion's Nolicense brigade being particularly strong. The newspapers have opened their columns freely to the contending parties, and the thickest fight wages J round the New Zealand No-license statistics, each side claiming to prove its case to them. in some electorates the question whether they shall remain wet or vote dry completely overshadows the political issues. (The polling in the State will take place next Friday week).
