DEMONSTRATION IN VIENNA.

VIENNA, Octobers,

Over a hundred thousand persons naraded at Vienna to protest against the cost of living. Speeches were made denouncing the Government's aßrarian-, policy, and demanding the admission of Argentine meat.

The Social Democrats organised the demonstration, at which the utmost order prevailed. There were no accidents.

The Hungarian Government has given a grudging assent to the admission of a restricted quantity of Argentine meat,, but it is unlikely that the concession will affect prices.
