At 7 o'clock yesterday morning the firebell gave an alarm, and it was found that Mi- J. J. Mend's furniture factory was on Arc The Brigade, in charge of Captain Great-head, was quickly on the 'spot, and, -with a good supply of viator, managed to confine the'fire to the inside of the building. Damage to the extent of over £IOO was >,lm}.
