PALMERSTON N. HORSE SALE.

PALMERSION N., Last Night. | Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our weekly horse sale at Palmerston on Saturday, the Ist inst., a totaJ entry of 135 horses of all classes was offered. There was a attendance and spirited competition, particularly for unbroken draughts and spring carters, a class of which we had a big entry. Very few horses went out unsold and we have 'to report a most successful sale at the following quotations:— Unbroken medium draughts, 3 and 4year old. £23 5s to £32; unbroken light draught, 3 and 4-year-old, £l9 to £26; unbroken spring cartere, £l3 15s to £lB ss; unbroken light horses, £5 to £10; unbroken ponies, £2 53 to £4 10s;heavy draughts, £43 to £45 10s; medium draughts, £2B to £3l; light draughts, £23 to £2B 15*; spring carters, £ls 10s to £2l ; harness horses, £8 to £ll 10s; hack, £6 to £ls 10s.

FEILDxNG stock report. By Telegraph —Special to Age. PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Feilding sale, held on Friday, 30th September, we had a large yarding o£ sheep and a medium entry of cattle. Sheep of all classes sold readily, and we have to report a total clearance, with the exception of one pen, We quote:— Ewe hoggets, good 17s ,8d; others, 153 to 17s; wether huggets, 13s; mixed hoggets, 12s. Los I'd, 13a; ewes and lambs, 12s Id, 153 2d, to 189; empty ewes, 12s 6J; small hoggets, 7s 6d. Cattle sold well, especially dairy stock and young cattle. Springing heifers, £4 lCs, £5 ss, £6 2s 6d; springing cows, £4 to £8; bulls, £2 2s 6d to £4 10s; tmpty heifers, £4 2s.
