DROWNING IN SYDNEY HARBOUR.
Received Last Night, 30.35 o'clock.
SYDNEY, October 3. A peculiar accident happened in the harbour to day. A boat, \v;t 1 i eight persons aboard, was crossing the punt ropes when the latter tightened and lifted the boat bodily n:to th a , air. All the occupants were thrown into the water. A girl named Chase v?aa drowned, and ar.other girl's hand was severely crushed.
