- " ADHERING TO THE £1 PER HUNDRED. A special telegram received by the Wairarapa Age from Waimate (Canterbury) yesterday, stated:— "The Waimate shearers met on Saturday night, and decided not to work foi less than £1 per 100. The sheds already started were reported as paying this price."
