WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Cricket Association was held at Carterton on Saturday eveiiing, when there were prpsent- Messrs E. Collinge., Carlton, chairman; W. Redmond and H. Moorehousc, Masterton; L. Smith and F. Hart, Carterton, and F. Huerscli and P. Bennett, St. Matthew's. The nomir.* ation of teams was extended till next Saturday, when the first meeting of the Management Committee will be held at Maaterton.

The election of officers resulted a 3 follows:—President, Mr W. C. Buchanan; vice-presidents, Messrs A. P. Whatman, H. H. Beetham, W. H. Beetham, W. H. L. Galwey, J, B. Moodie, J. Caselberg, and W. E Bidwill; secretary and trea* surer, Mr L. Smart; auditor, Mr C. J. Mackellar; delegate to New Zealand Cricket Council, Mr C. E Weston; junior classification committee, senior captains and Mr Coljinge; Messrs Redmond, Moorbouse and Smart were appointed to revise the rules of the Association and to repott at a future meeting.

An application from the Mauriceville Club to have the classification of ,'C. Mascelle as a senior removed was acceded to after considerable discussion. It was decided that two days be allotted to matches, and if unfinished then, the win to be awarded on the first innings. Points were fixed as follows—Straight-out win, 3; win on first wninge, 2; win by default, 3; draw, each. On the motion of the Masterton Club, it was decided that in future the annual meeting be held in which ever town suits the majority of delegates.

Several important matters, including representative matches, were held over for future consideration.
