MEETING AT KAEWAEWAE

Ovor twenty farmers representing the Morison's Bush, Featherston, Dalefield, Dverville, Kahautara and Kaewaewae districts, attended at the Kaewaewae Hall on Wednesday to consider the object of establishing a small freezing works to freeze pork for the home market, with incidental conveniences. After the chairman (Mr Fuge) had pointed out the benefits to be derived from such an industry it was decided that a company be formed to be called the Featherston Co-op-erative Pork Freezing Company, Ltd., and that the capital be £SOOO, divided into 1000 shares of £5 each. Messrs Win. Fuge, J. T. Bickncll, F. W. Parry, J. A. Chesham, Geo. Yule, Wm. Bucke.rjdge, G. Busch and G. H. Gayler will act as provisional directors.
