WEATHER FORECAST.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night.
The following is the Rev. D. (J. Bates' summary and forecast:—Barometric pressuie fctill continues very high and the weather fine and warm with light and variable winds generally.
Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere- shortly, especially southward of New mouth and Napier, which is now threatened with a westerly storm area of low pressure. Model ate tostrong easterly winds will probably prevail northwards of Kawhia and Napier, and freshening northerliea elsewhere. Increasing haziness will probably ho followed by more unsettled and cloudy weather; everywhere,, and stormy ;, weather iih and southward of Cook Strait within thirty-six hours/
