QPIATH-A r- . ■ SEVERE rill

Duncdin Man Suffered fo Years. Lost the use of Lett Lee. Now Active and Healthy; <•

[ At Ravensbourne, Dunectin, lives j lMr C. French, who experienced , I such severe attacks of Sciatica that almost nightly for six months, lie got little or no sleep. He lost the'use of his left leg from the knee down, and his crippled state was apparent to most of the neighbours. Mr French lias succeeded in driving the complaint completely out of his system, by the use of Dr Williams' Pink Pills, and ho thinks that other sufferers should know. of his experience. Mr French made j the following statement to a reporter:— "About twelve years since I got a had sciatica pain in the back of my left hip. The pain kept increasing as time went on, and it became very bad in my thigh. It spread right down my left leg to the foot, and in course of time I lost the use of my leg from the knee down. The pain was worse in tbe middle of my thigh. I had to ! give up my work on the wharf- on j October 25, 1909, as I could no longer, stand the agony. It was as if needles were being driven into my leg from knee down, and there was a gnawing burning pain in the , thigh down to my knee. My knee used to swell. I became so bad that for six months I never lay down, in my bed. I haH to sit up with my foot on a stool, and the blankets round my shoulders. I do not believe I ever went to sleep all that time, simply sat on the edge of the bed. I consulted a doctor, and he gave me two bottles of medicine, and told me if they did not do mo any good he could not cure me. I tried any quantity of other medicines. Eventually, the doctor told me I would have to go to Rotorua, as he could do no more for me. I did not go, and told the doctor I would not, as I had seen the people who had been there, and who became as bad as ever when 'they returned. I read an account of a man about my own age who suffered as I was, having been cured by Dr Williams' Pink Pills, so I got six boxes from Irvine and Stevens, grocers, Dunedin, and commenced taking them. I went according to the directions, gradually increasing the dose, until I was taking three pills after each meal. I had been taking the pills about six weeks before I foimd

they were doing me any good, but I was determined on giving them a fair trial. I bought a second lot, and by the time 1 had taken the eleventh box I was able to lie down in bed and take a good rest. I 'continued using the pills until I had taken fourteen boxes altogether, when I was able to go about again free from all pain, _ My neighbours all Knew of my crippled state, and the way Dr Williams' Pink Pills cured me, and I always recommend them, to anyone whom I see suffering from Sciatica or Rheumatism. The price is 3s per box, six .boxes 16s 6d, and if you have trouble in getting them, send a postal note for the amount to the Dr Williams' Medicine Co., of Australasia, Ltd., Wellington, and they will be sent, post free, by return m »il'. : •

Everyone speaks well of Chamber lain's, Cough Remedy after using it, and its best friends are people who have used it for years. They have found that it can always bo depended on, and while they may occasionally try other remedies that they see advertised, or that are recommended to them by friends, they are almost certain to return to Chamberlain's Cough Remedy and acknowledge it to be the, best and most reliable medicine that they have ever used for coughs, colds and croup.— Sold by all chemists and storekeepers.
