PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly I sale in Pahiatua on Tuesday, | week in their Mangahao Road yards,*,' when forward well above advertised, numbers, and are pleased to report having held a gcod sale. The yarding of sheep comprised only hoggets, and the cattle entry was a mixed lot of cows, heifers, and young stock, which were aU well competed for. We quote as follows: ,—Sheep: Woolly hoggets X4s to 19s, ;for a small lot; small woolly hoggets, 7s, 8s to 10s lid, Cattle: 15 months heifers to £2 14a 6d; mixed 15 months heifers and steers, Bmall, £2 3s to £2 4s 6d; heifers due in October, £4 12s 6d to £5 2s 6d: store cows, to £3 lis 6d; cows in calf, £3 12s to £4 18?. Our next sale will be held next Tuesday at the Pahiatua Farmers' Yards.
