From the kick off Bush rushed play to Wairarapa 25, but Masson quickly relieved, Thompson returned, and Wairarapa being penalised, A, Mexted had a shot at goal; a good kick just missing the pests. The Wairarapa forwards by good rushes relieved the pressure and put Bueh on the defensive. Harrington saved well, and for a time kept the line clear. H. Mexted, the clever Bush half, started a passing rush, but it was spoiled by passing too low. Play was centred, till from a scrum n midfield, Ball obtained the leather and whipped it out smartly to Groube, and after the ball had been handled by Tori Ratima, Mason and A, Ross, the latter was grassed on the line. Bush were penalised, but Bert McKenzie's kick at goal was unsuccessful. Tori now inaugurated
a good passing rush, in which Ball,

From the line out Harrington infringed, acd Masson missed the post 3 frcm a very easy angle. Harrington transferred play to Wairarapa's quarters, but a penalty relieved, and Wairarapa forwards got going in good style, their rush being stopped by Thompson. H.
