ITS IMMENSE PROPORTIONS. SUFFERING THROUGH WANT OF RAW MATERIALS. Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock. LONDON, September 10. Lord Kotheringliaro, addressing the Congress of the Tfxtile Institute, stated that the annual production of the textile and allied trades in the United Kingdom wai £240,000,000. The employees in these trades numbered 1,200,000. The majority of the textile trades were, said the speaker, suffering owii.g to the scarceness and deamess of raw materials.
