WEATHER FORECAST.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Government meteorologist reports that a westerly storm area is enveloping the country southward of Patea and Napier, and will probably extend its influence northward during the early part of the week. The barometer will probably fall very low in the South about Tuesday night, or Wednesday, and be followed by a southerly gale, with colder weather, and snow on the high levels.
