The result were:--"Willingtcn A 1 v. Greyraoi t'l T. Wellington B 2 v. Westport 1. Otago 2 v. Tarsmaki C. Hawkt's Bay 4 v. Wanganui 0. Wairarapa 1 v. Nelson 0.

T|he Nelsori-Wairarapa match was very fast and exciting, piav travel' ling from one end of the fit Id to tbe other with great rapidity. After opening, the Neisin forwards carried play to Wairarapa territory, Miss N. O'Learv saving. Misses Terry and Gazele' beared, but Miss Emms returned play with a fine dribble to the Wairarapa 25. Passing by Misses D, Boyre and Harris was nicely stopped by Mi as shtoti, but the leal forwards continued to press Miss Z. Humphries clearing, and Misses A, O'Leary, Easthnpe and Ashton took play to the Neison 25, Miaa Burnett saving, and then Miss Whitweli it down to Wairarapa s circle. Fast play followed. Misses 1 Gazeley and Z. Humphries transferred play to Nelson circle, but a fine hit by Miss H. Wairarapa then returned to the attack, but Miss Whit well relieved. Miss C. Easthope led Wairarapa's next attack, and trom a scramble Miss Gszeley scored less than a mi nuts before half time. Wairarapa 1 Nelson 0 On tesuming Wairarapa were aggrepsive and made desperate efforts to score, Miss Barker clearing. Wairaiapa were playing very solidly, and for a few minutes had muca the better of the play. A good hit by Miss H. Boyce, followed by , Miss Harris, put Wairarapa on tha •iefence. From a free hit there was exciting play in the Wairarapa circle, aad 'Miss S. Chapman conceded a corner. Nelson by hard hitting spoiled several chances to score, and Miss Gszely cleared in fine style, and Wairarapa again looked danger ous, but Miss Emms, by.u splendid single handed dribble, toofc play back to the Wairarapa goalkeeper, who hit over the back line to save. Ntlson made desperate efforts to make good, but Miss N. O'Leary j cleared with a fine hit, only to see play taken back to the Wairarapa { territory. From a bully on the Nelson 25 line, Miss A. O'Leary dribbled j right to the goalkeeper, who 1 saved with a nice hit. Miss Emms took play back to the Wairarapa circle and had a shot, Miss Muir saving. Miss Ashton then dribbled back to the Nelson circle, Miss Dodson conceding a corner hit. Wairarapa continued to press Nelson hard, bat Miaa Whjtwell hit well down to Miss S. wbo returned with a fine hit. Nelson swept back, but . Miss u'Leary was prominent in a diibble back to the Nelson 25. Miss B. Boyce was conspicuous, but Misa Terry returned with a fine dribble. Miss Barker relieving. Nelson again attacked, and Wairarapa conceded two corner hits. Miss Tarry cleared brilliantly, and Miss Lucas (goal) I hit hard down. Miss D. Boy*e j centred, and Miss R.
