WAIRARAPA SAWMILLER.
; KILLED IN THE NORTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, September 9. , John Drummond, foreman at G. Smith's sawmill at Rakauroa, who was injured by a falling tree on August 31st, died to-day, aged fiftytwo.. [.Deceased was twelve years in the Wairarapa, and was a member of tbe firm of Drummond Bros. He leaves a widow and five sons. The late' Mr John Drummond was engaged in sawmilling at Hamua, near Ek6tabuna, for a number of years. He was well-known and highly respected in the Forty-Mile Bush. He came originally from Otago.
