The campaign instituted by exPresident Roose'velt against the corrupt system of "graft," which dominates politics and corporations in the United States, is already producing good results. The courage of the ex-President is equalled only by his determination. Public life in the States at the present time is a seething hot-bed of corruption, and the , methods employed by the ' 'grafters" is wicked in the extreme. If "Mr Roosevelt can succeed in minimising the evil, which, has developed to alarming proportions in recent' years, his name will be handed down to posterity as that of a public benefactor. /
