ENEMIES TO SELF-GOVERN-MENT.
Keceived Last Evening, 5.5 o'clock NEW YORK, September 4.
Ex-President Rocssvelt. speaking at Omaha, said that corruption in business or political life, or violence by the mob, was a blow to selfgovernment.
Business men who were swindling the public or debauching the Legislature, and "grafting" politicians who blackmaled corporations, were, he said, enemies of self-government.
