METEOROLOGICAL.

Mr W. G. Groves,, of Bush Grove reports:—The rainfall registered for the month of August was 2.56 point-i; maximum fall, 82 points on 28th; days with rain, fifteen; maximum temperature for month, 66 on 22nd; minimum temperature for month, 26 on the 10th; rainfall for August, 1909, 625 points. Mr J. C. Boddington reports that rain fell on nineteen days in Aurust The maximum fall in 24 hours was 95 points, registered on the 29th. The minimum was one point on the 3rd. The total rainfall for the month was 3.27 inches. The average for August is 3.04 inches. The total rainfall for the past eight months was 29.81 inches. The average for the corresponding period during the previous six years was 26.80 inches.
