CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night Messrs Jameson, Ltd.. received a notification to-day that the Minister for Public Works has accepted their tender of £53,564 fcr tbe erection of new Government Buildings at the corner of Worcester Street and Ca • tbedral Square. No time will be lost in putting the wcrk in hand, and Mr Jameson, who is at present in Auckland in connection with the erection of the new Pos>. Office there, will be it) Christehurch early next week. It is understood that there was a fairly large amount of competition for the work .
