THE MARIENBURG SPEECH
Received Last Night, 9 o'clock. BERLIN. August 31.
A fuller version of v the Magdeburg speech shows Ibat the Kaiser remarked that the cross on the Teutonic Knight's cioak implied eubordinatian to the will of Heaven.
"Just as my grandfather and I have represented ourselves as working under the highest mandate," said the Kaiser, "I assume t hat will be the case with every honest Christian, whoever ha may be." The speech, with its summons to unity for the common welfare, has received general approval.
