PROPOSED SEWERAGE OF THE BOROUGH.

Sir,— Owing to the misleading statements freely circulated in the 'Borough, obviously with the intention of confusing the mir.d of the ing voter in the hope that the voter •otherwise favourably disposed towards the scheme would vote against it, I feel it my duty to again repeat what has been over and over again stated, that the loan proposal of J831.000 will, if carried, mean a rate of not more than fd in the £on the unimproved value of any and every property within the Borough. That •the properties not in the drainage area will pay |3, and that the properties in the diainage area will .pay Jdasnow acd a Jd in addition —that is fd the same as the properties not in the drainage area, and that this payment will go on for 3SJ years and then cease.. This is a consolidation, and makes every /property in the Borough pay upon -the same basis. —I am., etc., J AS. M. CORADINE, Mayor.
