UNITED EVANGELISTIC COMMITTEE.

ANNUAL MEETING. It is not common knowledge that when the Henry-Potts Mission Party concluded their work in Masterton, the Mission Committee continued to meet and formed themselves into what is known as "the United Evangelist Committee," with the Rev. C. E. Porter as the first president, and Mr Alf. Snowball as the first secretary. Owing to the removal of the Rev. Porter, the Rev A. Hodge was appointed president at the meeting of the Committee on Wednesday night, and the Rev. C. H. Olds, vice-president. The Committee start their first year's work with a small balance in liamd to commence with, and Wednesday night's meeting was accounted the annual meeting. It was decided to sesure for Masterton the services of Dr. Chapman and Ghas. Alexander during their New Zealand Mission of 1912, if possible.

It was further resolved that tlu third Wednesday in each month be set apart for the United Devotional Meeting in each Church in turn, and that on September 21st next, the Rev. Hodge conduct a Convert's Rally in Knox Church. Special efforts are to he made to get a large gathering of those who received help at the Henry-Pott's Mission.
