RUSSIA AND TURKEY.
A STRONG PROTEST. Received August 23, 12.12 a.m. TEHEKAN, August 22. Russia has strongly protested against the Turkish at Bayzaid entering Persia and remaining ten rales within Persian territory, after killing the Persian guards. Correspondents comment upon the fact that the Turks, for two years paet, have been administering considerable tracts of Persia to the northward and southward of the town of Urumah.
