WEATHEK FORECAST/ By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON. August 10. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are as follows— Very high barometric pressure has prevailed everywhere, the'pressure having increased considerably in the north during the night, with'strong southerly winds. Present indications are for northerly winds, freshening j strong to gale suuthwarJ of New I'Plj mouth and Napier, a<id w.th increasing cloudiness brirgmg rain and unsettled weather, from an area of low pressure approaching irom tha westward. Conditions are more sealed in *he north at present, and moderate easterly winds will prcbabJe prevail.
