RACING. FINAL GALLOPS AT RICCAKTON.

Work on the tracks was done this morning under favourable conditions. Sir Lethe jumped four of the big fences proficiently. Penates, who was responsible for an attractive mile yesterday, defeated Mon Ami over five furlongs, the last four run in 52 l-Ssec. Tauira ran a mile in lmin 49sec. Tawhaki was given a six furlong sprint, the last five in lmin 4 3-5 sec. Faunus went over four i furlongs in 50 l-ssec. Prophet six in I lmin 19sec. Amato sprinted four in 49 3-ssec—an attractive performance. Prospector was schooled over the big fences, jumping well. Mahuta easily beat Rifle Range over six furlongs in lmin 20sec. Wauchope ran four in 50aee. Te Arai was sent a mile at a strong pace. Le Beau went twice round, brushing home over the last half a miie. Nero, Paritutu, and Lionheart are showing signs of lameness.
