MR PATERSON'S RESIGNATION. "WITHOUT LOSS OF SELFRESPECT. Received August 5, 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, August 5. Mr Paterson, who has resigned from the Newcastle Collieries Wages Board, said now that ha could resign without loss of self-respect, he was anxious not to do anything to interfore with the smooth working of the board.
