A NIGHT ATTACK.
THREE VILLAGES RAIDED. _. ONE HUNDRED PERSONS MASSACRED. Received August 4, 9.50jp.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, August 4. Druss mountaineers living.in Hauran, a district in Syria, lying east of the Sea of Galilee, made a night attack on three villages. I'hey massacred one hundred Christian and Moslem men, women and children. The raiders pillaged the dwellings. A punitive expedition has been sent to the district.
