Messrs Pragnell Bros, have decided to enter into business in Mastorton as timber merchants. .They will occupy the yards lately held by Mess's Gardner and Son, and carry on the business so successfully cond'i. ted hy Mr W. Pragnell for 18 years. Boh Mr E. Pragnell and Mr A. Pragnell -n

are well known in Mastertm, and by giving that strict attention to business and civility to customers so essential to success, they should reacily command a fair share of support. Mr E. ' Pragnell, the senior member of the firm, has "had twentyone years' varied experience in regard to timber, which should be a sufficient guarantee that contractors and others will be well catered for. It is the intention of the new firm to keep a very carefully selected stock, which will include all kinds of dressed timber and mouldings. The clerical portion of the business will be under the supervision of Mr A. C. Pragnell, who for many years has been in the employ of the vV.P.C.A. The popularity of Messrs Pragnell Bros, in the town should be a guarantee of their success in their newlyestablished business, l'i.e iih* firm will be prepared to receive orders towards the end of the week, when large supplies of nigh-clasa tiuioer will be in stock.
