Several Spanish Farliamentaiy d;puties sent a congratulatory letter to Don Jaime, 3on of the late Don Carlos, on the prospects of the CarHst restoration. Don Jaime has replied: 'Twill do nothing to disturb the peace, least of all promote a civil war. I am satisfied that Spain will 83on become a republic, which will oe of short duration."
