The Taratah:-Carterton Racing Club held its annual meeting on Saturday afternoon, Mr 11, H. Wulters being in the chair. The report and balancesheet was adopted, and officers as under were electee!:-—Patron, Mr W. C. Buchanan. M.P.; president, Mr JH. R. Bunny ; vice-presidents, Messrs H. H. Woltcrs and H. Judd; auditors, Messrs J. Moncneff and K. J. Chapman; treasurer. Mr G. W. Deller; hnn. surgeons, Drs. Bey, Johnsfcun and Palmer; judge, Mr J. W. Card; clerk of scales, Mr H. McPfcee; time keeper, Mr R. G. Kembie; course committee, Messrs Deiler, T. Ray, J. Hodder.W. Howard Booth and A. Daysh; stewards, Messrs W. J. Denbee, W. M. Hally, J. Hodder. R. G. Kembie, H. Rayner, and S. C. Skelley. Three new members were elected, and, to encourage more, the subscription for new members this year was fixed at one guinea. Mr D; Her was re-elected chairman of stewards.
