CHARGES OF FRAUD.
COSSUPT COUNCILLORS., SENTENCES OF IMPRISONMENT. Received August 1, 10, a.m. LONDON, July 31. John Jones and Albert Jones, officials of the Gelligaer Parish Council, Glamorganshire, were each s?nt-nced to five years' imprisonment on charges of conspiracy to defraud the ratepayers of large sums of money. six parish councillors were sentenced to terms of from two to four months' imprisonment for conspiracy and corrupt practices.
