A. AND P. ELECTION.
The voting papers in connection with the annual election of a committee for the management of the Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association have been circulated amongst the members. The list contains thirty-four nominations, and the number to be elected is thirty. On looking through the names we see there will be great difficulty in rejecting four candidates, and it is a proof ot the popularity of the institution that we find so many good men coming forward and ready and willing to carry cut the duties of the Committee which this year will be more than ever of an arduous character. Twelve di&triwc representatives have already bee-i elected unopposed, and with tne thirty to be elected they will, wi»;h the executive, form a strong body of workers. It will be well to note that all voting papers must reach the President not later than Friday nigbt next. The members' roll now stands at 740, and if each existing member makes a point of nominating another member the Association will 1 be on a sound basis The next Show will be on the Solway grounds, and the executive have some hard' work before them to have all preparations finished in readiness for the Show.
